Dear Father,

The New Millennium of grace is already manifesting a renewed
interest of the faithful in the real presence of our Lord in the Eucharist.
Many dioceses across the country report an emergence of chapels set
aside for periods of prayer before the exposed Blessed Sacrament. As
a result, the faithful are testifying to graces received, conversions
taking place, prayer answered, reconciliation in families, increases in
priestly and religious vocations and other favors.

The Pope John Paul Eucharistic Adoration Association in the
Archdiocese of Chicago is an apostolate, under patronage of Cardinal
Francis George, that promotes Eucharistic adoration in keeping with
Church guidelines and assists pastors and parishes in the
establishment of hours of adoration and chapels for this purpose. I am
proud to be Episcopal Moderator of this Association.

We observe this to be a movement of the Holy Spirit in the
Church in these times for which we give our endorsement. Perhaps
your parish is interested in getting adoration underway in your local
community. May the rich graces from God which are evident be yours
in abundance.

Sincerely yours in Christ,

Most Reverend Joseph N. Perry
Auxiliary Bishop of Chicago
